Austar HVLS fans are manufactured by Austar Technologies at a dedicated facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company is part of a group with established businesses in plastic packaging net manufacturing, EOT crane manufacturing and construction machines — which is where the structural fabrication discipline behind our hanging structures comes from.
We entered HVLS fan manufacturing in 2017, after two years of design development and testing. Blade profile, hub casting, hanging structure and drive selection were all worked through before the first fan went out of the door. That is the reason the range has stayed at eleven models rather than expanding into a catalogue — each one is a size we can build properly.

Austar Technologies grows out of a group with established businesses in plastic packaging net manufacturing, EOT crane manufacturing and construction machines.
Two years of design development
Before manufacturing a single fan for sale, two years go into design development and testing — blade profile, hub casting, hanging structure and drive selection.
HVLS manufacturing begins
Austar enters HVLS fan manufacturing with the AS geared series, built around German make gear motors and in-house structural fabrication.
Third party certification
CE certified by TUV Nord, opening both institutional projects in India and export markets.
20,000 sq.ft. dedicated plant
A dedicated HVLS fan manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad reaches a capacity of 300 fans per month.
7,000+ installations
Over 7,000 fans installed across India, with exports to Bangladesh, the Gulf and African countries — and 80% of orders coming from repeat customers.
